Sansay product innovations help Comlink bring high quality real-time services to channels and businesses

San Diego, CA, February 27, 2013 – Sansay™ Inc., the leading independent provider of session border controllers, announces that COMLINK has added Sansay session controllers to support subscriber access-facing real-time services. COMLINK now operates Sansay VSXi session controllers to manage both access and network-facing communications traffic.

Expanding with Sansay helps COMLINK further take advantage of VSXi innovations around network-wide session control. VSXi systems exchange real-time information across session control nodes, coordinating network-wide processing resources in areas such as 1) security, 2) traffic management, 3) high-availability, 4) reporting, 5) transcoding, and 6) licensing. As a result, real-time services such as VoIP and video communications are delivered with greater reliability and resilience, especially when faced with traffic surges, network contention, and D/DOS attacks.

“COMLINK was seeking a session controller partner who not only provides best in class technology and reliability, but also the design and implementation support to get us to market quickly. Sansay was the perfect match of technology and support for our session controller deployment,” commented Barry Raterink, Vice President of Business Development.

Adding Sansay for access-facing services helps COMLINK cost-effectively expand to new geographic markets. Sansay combines network-wide session control with the use of commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware to simplify the addition of new points of presence. COMLINK can better distribute nodes to minimize the likelihood of media hair-pinning and reduce the possibility of voice and video quality issues.

“Sansay’s product innovations help COMLINK rapidly turn-up services that combine high speed fiber, powerful communications applications, and end-to-end service assurance, “said Andy Voss, CEO of Sansay. “Sansay values its partnership with COMLINK and the opportunity to help them provide the highest quality communications services for channel partners and business customers.”

Sansay will be attending Channel Partners 2013, in Las Vegas, February 27th to March 1st and is available for meetings or briefings. Contact info@staging.sansay.com or call +1.858.754.2211.
