Technology Leaders Partner to Optimize Secure, High Performance VoIP Services
June 18, 2007 – Sansay, Inc., provider of VoIP session control solutions to service providers worldwide, is joining the Level 3® Technology Alliance Program (TAP), a group uniting VoIP industry leaders to provide interoperability and optimize high-value services for Level 3 customers. In participating in TAP, Sansay’s VSX and SPX VoIP session controllers are certified interoperable with Level 3’s network and alliance members.
Level 3’s TAP facilitates creation of proven, integrated solutions on the Level 3 network, focusing on interoperability testing to help customers achieve profitable, high-performance VoIP implementations. Sansay session controllers introduce industry-leading routing and security capabilities that optimize use of VoIP facilities in a variety of access and peering applications including wholesale, retail, pre-paid, hosted and E911 services. Joining the Technology Alliance Program enables organizations using Sansay session controllers to rapidly and securely interconnect with Level 3 to leverage its voice services.
“Level 3 has always led the VoIP industry in leveraging the most advanced solutions and in realizing the importance of bringing best-of-breed technologies together and working through the interoperability issues,” says Sansay CEO Andy Voss. “The Technology Alliance Program not only benefits members but mutual customers looking to migrate to and profit from differentiated VoIP services.”
Sansay’s VSX and SPX session controllers secure service provider networks and hide network topography while enabling SLAs and preventing denial of service (DoS) attacks. Sansay solutions negate the need for costly TDM switches and facilitate completion of calls using all-IP routes cost-effectively.
“As VoIP evolves, session control is emerging as an important and versatile component of the network infrastructure,” says Craig Schlagbaum, vice president of National Partner Sales and Programs for Level 3. “Sansay solutions are helping providers worldwide address some of the industry’s greatest performance and profitability challenges like least-cost routing and network security. We are pleased to include them in the TAP and believe their efforts will benefit customers, vendors and other key participants in the VoIP value chain.”
